Dr. Nicholas Powers is a poet, a journalist and a college professor who explores the racial dimensions of psychedelia. He co-hosted the long running New York City College Poetry Slam at the Nuyorican Café. Today he discusses decriminalization, positive action, and how the psychedelic renaissance can help the poor.

And we didn’t even get a chance to talk about his book, ‘The Ground Below Zero - 9/11 to Burning Man, New Orleans to Darfur, Haiti to Occupy Wall Street’ (which is as wild as it sounds):  http://www.upsetpress.org/tag/nicholas-powers/
